RDI is most helpful with client's who may have difficulty with affect tolerance. This is especially true in cases of complex trauma (complex post traumatic stress disorder).
What does it do?
RDI helps to promote stabilization, meaning that a client will learn how to increase their Window of Tolerance and decrease levels of dissociation. These are all necessary components of assessing readiness for reprocesing.
